Chief of Staff

Scope of the Position:

As the Chief of Staff at NuPort Robotics, you will work closely with the CEO and the executive team to streamline operations, provide strategic direction, and ensure the successful execution of our company’s vision. Your multifaceted role will involve - cross functional collaboration, administrative tasks, communications, financial analysis, budgeting, hiring, project management ultimately supporting the CEO and fostering a high-performance culture throughout the organization. Requirements:

• Have been a founder in the past or Extensive experience at a start-up in an operations, sales, or business role.
• Bachelors or Masters in Electronics, Computer Science engineering or a related engineering field to better understand product market fit.
• 5+ years experience in operations, sales, finance, or a similar business role.
• Open to traveling within Canada and internationally to support the team or for technical or business development activities.
• Proven track record of driving growth and executing strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior knowledge or experience of complex financial modeling and market analysis.
• Exceptional analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written), leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and good at administrative tasks.
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.
• Incredible drive and willingness to go the extra mile on every task.
• [good to have] Good to have prior experience in international markets such as Asia and Europe.
• [good to have] Prior experience in the Automotive industry is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Support the CEO in identifying, analyzing, and executing critical company initiatives/ projects.
• Shadow CEO in critical meetings, taking notes, tracking and following up on action items, and ensuring the company is staying focused on top priorities.
• Support in hiring and recruiting top talent.
• Customer interactions and understanding requirements.
• Creation of different decks for the company as the need maybe for both business and technical teams
• Streamline internal processes and operations to improve efficiency and productivity across the organization.
• Work with the team leads to set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each department.
• Assist the CEO and co-founding team in developing and maintaining a strong company culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and innovative work environment.
• Work closely with the leadership to develop and implement strategies for entering new markets and expanding the company's customer base.
• Support executive functions, including financial forecasting, fundraising strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Evaluate potential partnerships and acquisitions to accelerate growth, expand product offerings, and enhance the company's competitive position in the market

Reporting

This position reports to the CEO.
